The DAPI/DuraTect-Solution (ultra) (MT8) is intended to be used for counterstaining of chromatin/chromosomes, for avoiding a fast quenching of fluorescent signals, and for enabling prolonged storage of hybridized slides in fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) applications on cytologic or formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded specimens. The DAPI/DuraTect-Solution (ultra) is intended to be used in combination with Gene Bio Solution probes and implementation kits. The product is intended for professional use only. All tests using the product should be performed in a certified, licensed anatomic pathology laboratory under the supervision of a pathologist/human geneticist by qualified personnel.
