Description

CD138 (EP201) is a monoclonal antibody derived from a rabbit. It is generated by immunizing rabbits with the CD138 antigen (also known as syndecan-1), a cell surface glycoprotein. The resulting antibody is then purified for diagnostic use in immunohistochemistry (IHC) and other laboratory applications. The clone of this antibody is EP201. This clone is produced by rabbit and is widely used for the detection of CD138 (syndecan-1) in various tissue types, particularly for identifying plasma cells in diagnostic pathology.
