Description

CD30, also known as Tumor Necrosis Factor Receptor Superfamily Member 8 (TNFRSF8), is a protein that is part of the TNF receptor superfamily. It is primarily expressed on activated T cells, B cells, and certain other immune cells,particularly in response to activation signals. CD30 is considered a cell surface marker and is involved in regulating immune cell activation, proliferation, and differentiation. It is a type 1 transmembrane protein and plays a role in inflammatory responses and in the regulation of the immune system.
